Movement of Emotions

I looked into the history of the smiley face and made a very short screen-saver like animation featuring my own design for a smiley face.

While I was making it I documented what I was doing, including calculations of time, distance, etc, of each smiley separately:

Typeface: Egyptian

A typeface I drew from looking for shapes resembling letters within a small stone statue of an elephant. The last non-digital version was then drawn as an alphabet in a book and later processed digitally.

One Hundred Drawings and One Movie

This is a combination of a project on text and one based on 100 ink drawings, and my research on how to use them together to take the meaning further.
